Oyster mushroom SANTANA RF 280

SANTANA RF 280 is a pleurotus with a beautiful brown cap 7–12 cm in diameter and a dense white stem. The flesh is tender, elastic, and aromatic, imparting an exquisite taste to dishes.

The mushroom is easy to cultivate: it grows on various substrates at a temperature of about 26 °C, and fruiting begins as early as 17 days after sowing. Within 45 days, three distinct waves of fruiting can be harvested – up to 30 mushrooms in one cluster.

Santana RF 280 is distinguished by its high yield (about 30% of the substrate mass) and resistance to bacterial blight, making it an excellent choice for both home cultivation and industrial processing. It is excellent when fresh – for salads, side dishes, and in cooking dishes that require a rich mushroom aroma.
