P 80 is a hybrid strain of Italian selection, specifically developed for maximum fruiting in the first wave of the harvest. It shows high productivity and sprouts quickly, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking stable production output. The mushroom caps are dark brown, dense and meaty, with a diameter from 8 to 12 cm and short stems, allowing the mushrooms to form heavy, dense clusters.
The climatic requirements for P 80 are quite specific: the optimal temperature range for fruiting is from 14°C to 16°C, and air humidity should be within 85–90%. Under such conditions, mushrooms reach maximum mass and quality. For successful cultivation, it is necessary to ensure sufficient light and fresh air.
The fruits of P 80 differ in large, heavy bodies that are easy to transport due to the elastic structure of the mushrooms. The mycelium application rate is from 3% to 3.5% of the block mass, which ensures stable growth and development of the mushroom body. Due to the combination of high yield, ease of cultivation, and convenient transportation, P 80 becomes the preferred choice for commercial production.
