R 17 is a high-quality mycelium for mushroom cultivation, suitable for both home and commercial use. It contains all necessary nutrients: proteins, fats, carbohydrates, mineral salts, and vitamins, while having low caloric content, which allows obtaining a full-fledged product even in small quantities.
The substrate for R 17 mycelium can be diverse: straw, cottonseed, sunflower bran, or processed grain waste. Thanks to the versatility of the substrate, mushrooms grow as large and beautiful clusters, with the first wave of fruits appearing just 28 days after inoculation.
Mushrooms grown on R 17 mycelium are characterized by dense, meaty flesh, a resilient stem, and good storage and transport stability. Optimal growth conditions are a temperature from +10 °C to +24 °C (best at +16–18 °C) and humidity of 85–88%. At reduced humidity, the mushroom retains its qualities, and the aggressive strain quickly colonizes the substrate, ensuring a high yield in the first wave.
