Tulip Red Present

The "Red Present" tulip, a representative of the Triumph class, is a staple for professional growers focusing on risk management and consistent yields. Its agricultural profile makes it a reliable choice for commercial forcing operations.

Disease Resistance as a Commercial Asset

The primary advantage of the Red Present variety is its robust genetic immunity, which significantly lowers production costs related to chemical treatments. The plant exhibits high resistance to several critical pathogens:

• Soil-borne diseases: Excellent tolerance to Fusarium and Verticillium wilt, ensuring stability in substrates with varying moisture levels.
• Fungal and viral threats: Resistance to Cladosporium and Tomato mosaic virus allows for safe cultivation in multi-crop greenhouse facilities without the risk of cross-contamination.

Operational Scenarios

With its mid-season blooming window, Red Present allows producers to align harvest cycles with peak market demand. Its average height is ideal for standard packaging equipment and ensures high-quality shipping performance. The vivid red petals maintain their structural integrity and color saturation for extended periods, reducing waste during the wholesale process.

For landscape professionals, this variety offers a low-maintenance solution for municipal flower beds, providing consistent results even in variable weather conditions. By minimizing the need for intensive fungicide programs, Red Present provides a predictable and cost-effective return on investment.
