Tulip Lucky Lady

A striking play of colors for your garden

The «Lutsk Lad» tulip, a distinguished member of the Greigii class, stands out from common spring bulbs with its unconventional palette. Its petals feature a sophisticated gradient where rich red meets deep lilac, creating a stunning "glowing" effect in the sunlight. Unlike standard garden tulips, this variety boasts a distinct character and botanical resilience.

Why choose the Greigii variety?

• Natural hardiness. Like all Greigii tulips, «Lutsk Lad» is known for its sturdy stem and high tolerance to unpredictable spring weather. It withstands late frosts and gusty winds far better than many hybrid groups.
• Decorative foliage. A signature trait of the Greigii group is the unique pattern on its leaves—often featuring mottled, brownish, or purple streaks—which makes the plant visually appealing even before the flower opens.
• Mid-season bloom. This variety serves as a perfect bridge between early bulbous plants and summer perennials, filling the mid-season gap in your garden's floral calendar.

Cultivation and application tips:
Its medium height makes «Lutsk Lad» an excellent choice for the foreground or mid-border of flower beds, rock gardens, and pathways. While this tulip does not require annual digging, it is recommended to divide the bulb clumps every 3–4 years to maintain optimal bloom size. Keep in mind that the lilac tones pop most vibrantly in full sunlight—planting in open, sunny areas will ensure the pigment reaches its full saturation.

This variety is tailored for gardeners seeking a balance between sophisticated aesthetics and low maintenance. If you need a tulip that won't flop after the first rain and will serve as a bold focal point in your landscape design, «Lutsk Lad» is a choice that consistently delivers.
