Tomato Svyatoslav F1

Focusing on Large Fruit Size and Marketability

The «Svyatoslav F1» hybrid, developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS, is a robust solution designed for the specific agricultural conditions of Ukraine. It is tailored for commercial producers who prioritize fresh market supply and need tomatoes that withstand long-distance logistics.

Practical Scenarios for Agribusiness

• Fresh Market Efficiency. With fruit weights exceeding 200 grams, this hybrid meets the high demand for large, uniform tomatoes in retail outlets and supermarket chains. Its presentation and size ensure rapid sell-through.
• Superior Transportability. One of the main challenges with large-fruited tomatoes is post-harvest handling. «Svyatoslav F1» is known for its structural density, which significantly reduces damage during shipping, ensuring that the final product reaches the market in peak condition.
• Optimized Harvesting Schedule. With a maturation period of 90–100 days, this mid-early hybrid fits perfectly into seasonal crop rotation. It allows farmers to bring large-scale production to market during peak consumer demand, maximizing profitability.

Agronomists find that «Svyatoslav F1» provides reliable growth patterns. The crop responds exceptionally well to intensive drip irrigation and standard fertilization programs, which are key to achieving consistent fruit sizing. This hybrid is the ideal choice for growers who focus on increasing total marketable yield without compromising on the quality and durability of the fruit.
