Tomato SOKOTRA

Tomato Sokotra is a high-yielding indeterminate cherry hybrid with very early ripening. Fruits can be harvested as early as 80-85 days after germination, making this variety especially attractive for those seeking an early harvest. Plants form simple clusters containing up to 12 intensely pink or bright red, egg-shaped fruits with a small stem. Tomatoes weigh between 25 to 50 grams, have dense, juicy flesh with high sugar and lycopene content, giving them a sweet, rich flavor and high nutritional value. The Sokotra variety exhibits good resistance to major tomato diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, bronze leaf spot, leaf curl, verticillium and fusarium wilt, cladosporiosis, and bacterial spot. This allows plants to maintain healthy growth and deliver a stable, high yield even under adverse conditions. Fruits do not drop off, enabling them to be harvested in whole clusters, while compact internodes and formation on 1-2 stems facilitate ease of cultivation and care. Tomato Sokotra is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and protected environments, where yields may reach 13-16 kg per square meter. The variety adapts well to various climatic conditions and has excellent transportability and storage longevity. Thanks to these qualities, tomato Sokotra is ideal for both home gardens and commercial production, enabling the harvest of delicious, nutritious, and attractive fruits.
