SLAVYANIN

The tomato Slavyanin is a medium-maturing variety with a period from germination to the start of fruiting of 110-115 days. The plant is determinate, reaches a height of up to 120 cm, and is intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. For optimal growth, it is recommended to grow seedlings, sowing seeds from early March into nutrient pots, then transplanting seedlings in the second decade of May according to the scheme 50x50 cm, forming 2-3 stems and tying to support. Tomato is heat-loving and requires appropriate care to achieve high yield.

The fruits of the Slavyanin variety have an elongated-pear shape and a raspberry-pink color when ripe. They are characterized by a dense skin and juicy, sweet flesh with a sugar content of about 3.35%, making them especially tasty and suitable for fresh consumption, in salads, as well as for whole-fruit canning and pickling. Fruit weight varies from 100 to 150 grams; they are resistant to cracking, which helps maintain their appearance and quality during storage.

The yield of tomato Slavyanin is high and, with proper care, ranges from 2.5 to 6 kg per square meter, with a fruit marketability of 87%. On average, 3-4 plants are planted per square meter, ensuring a good harvest. Harvested fruits can be stored for about two months without losing their qualities. This variety is popular due to its combination of high productivity, excellent taste, and versatility of use.
