SIBERIAN PIRUET

Tomato Siberian Piruet is a determinate early-maturing variety that ripens 104-108 days after sowing. This variety is characterized by high fruit set and does not require pinching, simplifying plant care. Siberian Piruet is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic covers, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions.

The fruits are cylindrical, firm, and have a bright red glossy color. The average weight of one fruit is 65-70 grams. The variety exhibits high resistance to cracking, which is especially important for canning and pickling. Tomatoes Siberian Piruet are excellent for fresh consumption as well as for whole-fruit canning. In fresh condition, fruits can be stored for up to one month, ensuring convenience in usage and storage of the harvest.

Seedling cultivation is recommended to begin in March, using slightly compacted soil with peat or soil layer mulching. Seeds require a temperature of about 25°C for germination; after seedlings emerge, the film is removed, and seedlings are placed in a bright location with gradual temperature reduction to 15-16°C, then to 20-22°C. Pinching is performed at the 1-2 true leaf stage, and transplanting to the ground occurs at 8-9 true leaves with spacing of 40x40 cm. During fruit set, potassium fertilization is recommended to increase yield, at a rate of 6.0-6.5 kg per square meter. Harvesting is done as fruits ripen, and underripe fruits may be allowed to ripen off the plant.
