Tomato PRIMO RED

Tomato Primo Red F1 is an early indeterminate hybrid developed by the French seed company Clause. This variety features a compact plant about 60 cm tall with a strong stem and good leaf coverage of deep green foliage. Due to its structure, the plant is resistant to most tomato diseases, including verticillium wilt and fusarium wilt, ensuring reliable and stable yields.

The fruits of Tomato Primo Red have a flat-round shape, with an average weight ranging from 250 to 350 grams. They are dense, meaty, and possess an excellent sweet flavor and aroma, without any green spot at the stem attachment. The fruits contain more than six seed chambers, indicating high product quality. Thanks to their good transportability and high yield, exceeding 100 tons per hectare, this hybrid is suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and canning.

Primo Red F1 is recommended for cultivation in open ground without staking, at a planting density of 3-4 plants per square meter. The variety tolerates seasonal cold spells and can continue fruiting until frost. Its early ripening period is approximately 65 days, allowing for a quick harvest.
