Description
Tomato Delta 264 is a medium-ripening, cluster-type variety of Siberian selection, ripening in 115-120 days. This tall, semi-spreading, and medium-branched plant has weak branching, which significantly simplifies its formation. The first flower cluster appears above the 8th-9th leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every three leaves. The plant is recommended for cultivation in moderate climate zones, both under plastic covers and in open ground, with two-stem formation and support.
The fruits of the Delta 264 variety are large, round, weighing up to 190 grams, very dense and juicy with a pleasant slight acidity. Bunches are heavily loaded with 5-7 tomatoes, ensuring high market yield up to 18.5 kg per square meter, with early yield reaching 2.4-7.3 kg/m2. Thanks to excellent taste and market qualities, the tomatoes are ideal for market sales, salad preparation, and all types of preservation.
The variety is resistant to a range of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium, cladosporiasis, and gall nematode. It responds well to watering and feeding with complex mineral fertilizers, which contributes to stable and high yields. All these characteristics make Delta 264 a reliable choice for agronomists aiming to produce a quality, in-demand product.
