About product
Description
The Perseus tomato fruits are flat-round, bright red, weighing 130 to 180 grams, with a firm structure and good taste. They have high transportability, allowing for long-distance transportation without quality loss. The variety is versatile in use: fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and processing into tomato products.
The Perseus tomato can be grown both as seedlings and directly in the open ground. Seeds are recommended to be sown in seedlings in early March, and transplanted to their permanent location in the second decade of May with an optimal planting scheme of 60x60 cm or 70x40 cm. For successful cultivation, choose sunny areas with loamy soils enriched with organic fertilizers, and avoid crop rotation after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, and Physalis. The best preceding crops for planting are legumes, cucurbits, root vegetables, and leafy greens.
