Tomato Paradigma

Consistent Yields for the Professional Market

The Paradigma tomato from the Dutch breeding company Nunhems is the go-to choice for growers focused on high-quality, whole-fruit production. As an indeterminate variety, it requires trellising and pruning; however, this growth habit allows for optimal greenhouse space utilization, ensuring a steady supply of produce throughout the entire season.

Why Producers Choose Paradigma

• Superior Transportability and Shelf Life. The dense, firm structure of the 80–100g cylindrical fruits is a key asset for supply chain logistics. These tomatoes withstand long-distance transport without sacrificing appearance, making them ideal for retail distribution.
• Operational Efficiency. The high uniformity of the fruit streamlines grading, packing, and sorting processes. For operations working with retailers, this translates to lower reject rates and significant time savings during post-harvest handling.
• Versatility. The red, cylindrical shape makes Paradigma an excellent fit for both the fresh market and whole-peeled canning. Its consistent sizing is particularly compatible with automated processing lines.

When cultivating Paradigma, growers should leverage its indeterminate nature through intensive crop management. Regular nutrient application and strict climate control in the greenhouse allow the plant to fully express its Nunhems genetic potential. The result is a robust, productive crop that delivers a predictable, high-value harvest. It is a workhorse variety for those who prioritize output quality and durability in the supply chain.
