Tomato OPTIMA is a medium-early hybrid intended primarily for cultivation in protected ground, including glass and plastic greenhouses. The period from germination to the start of ripening is 115-125 days. The plant is indeterminate, tall, with simple inflorescences, ensuring abundant fruiting. Fruits are round, smooth, dense, red, weighing 120–240 grams, with 4–6 chambers. They have good tomato flavor, do not crack or drop off, making them ideal for fresh consumption, dish decoration, and canning.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including fusarium wilt and tomato mosaic virus, as well as to viruses V, F1, F2, N, and ToMV. Over the years of testing, commercial yield in winter greenhouses reached an average of 33.7 kg/m², exceeding standard hybrids. Yield in plastic greenhouses was also higher than that of analogs, with a commercial output reaching up to 99.6%. Such performance makes OPTIMA a profitable choice for commercial cultivation.
To enhance plant productivity and resilience, the use of specialized growth regulators such as SMART GROW TOMATO, based on potassium humate and a balanced complex of macro- and microelements, is recommended. These products stimulate active root development, improve metabolic processes, and increase resistance to stress conditions, thereby increasing yield and improving fruit quality.
