Tomato variety Mojito Cocktail is a tall, indeterminate plant, primarily intended for cultivation in greenhouses. This variety is distinguished by its early maturity — fruits are ready for harvest approximately 110 days after sowing. Plants are trained to grow as single stems, with suckers removed and plants supported on stakes, promoting better development and yield. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early March, and transplanting into greenhouses — in May. To maintain plant health, fungicides and mineral fertilizers may be used as necessary.
The fruits of Mojito Cocktail tomato are small, weighing about 30 grams, gathered in heavy, branched clusters with numerous tomatoes. They have an emerald hue and are characterized by a very sweet, aromatic flavor with distinct fruity-citrus notes. The variety has high yield due to the large number of clusters and fruits per plant. Harvesting can be done either by cutting entire clusters or individually as fruits ripen, since some tomatoes at the ends of clusters may ripen later.
The main use of this variety is for salad consumption, though the fruits are also suitable for canning and pickling. Seeds retain viability for up to 10 years under proper storage conditions, but it is recommended to increase sowing rates after the expiration of the viability period. The planting scheme is 40x60 cm, ensuring optimal space for plant development and maximum productivity.
