Melodiya F1

Tomato Melodiya F1 is an early indeterminate hybrid developed by the Dutch selection company Seminis. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and open fields, including first and second crops. The plant is compact with short internodes, promoting the formation of 6-7 flower clusters with even fruit set. Melodiya F1 exhibits high resistance to Fusarium and Verticillium wilt, tomato mosaic virus, and nematodes, significantly enhancing its reliability under various growing conditions.

The fruits of tomato Melodiya F1 have a round, slightly flattened shape with bright red coloration and an average weight of 180 to 250 grams. They are characterized by high density, ensuring long storage life and suitability for long-distance transportation without loss of appearance or flavor. The variety is also resistant to cracking, further increasing its appeal for fresh market sales and processing applications, such as juice production.

The vegetative period of the hybrid is approximately 115-120 days from planting, or about 60 days after transplanting seedlings. The plant adapts well to low temperatures and is suitable for cultivation in plastic greenhouses during winter-spring and summer-autumn periods, as well as in open fields with support structures. The optimal plant load is 6-7 clusters with 4-5 fruits per cluster, contributing to high and stable yields.
