Tomato Marina

Why 'Marina' is a choice for professionals in the fresh market

The 'Marina' tomato from Agrofirma Poisk is more than just seeds; it is a technological tool for producing large-fruited products in the premium segment. With breeding support from Seminis and Marutane, this variety fits perfectly into the concept of growing 'meaty' tomatoes aimed at retail sales and high-quality processing.

Agrotechnological features and yield

The key challenge this tomato solves on a farm is achieving a consistently high yield of marketable produce. When agronomic standards are met, yields exceed 190 tons per hectare, making 'Marina' an economically efficient crop. A fruit weight of over 200 grams, combined with an unusual heart shape, helps the product stand out on the shelf, where its orange color is perceived as a sign of high carotene content and dessert taste.

Farm application scenarios

• Retail: The heart shape and rich color make 'Marina' fruits easily recognizable, increasing the profit margin of direct-from-the-field sales.
• Processing: Due to the high density of the pulp, these fruits are excellent for making thick juices, sauces, and pastes with a rich orange hue.
• Intensive farming: The variety is responsive to intensive mineral nutrition schemes, allowing it to fully unlock its genetic potential in both protected and open soil.

We recommend this seed material to farmers focusing on fruit aesthetics and taste characteristics. By choosing seeds from Agrofirma Poisk, producers receive time-tested genetic material adapted to climatic conditions with predictable, reliable results.
