Tomato MARINIS is a medium-early hybrid with an indeterminate growth type. The plant is tall and highly leafy with large green leaves. The fruits are round, smooth-surfaced, and red, with an average weight of about 230 grams per fruit. The hybrid is distinguished by its good taste and high fruit marketability, reaching up to 94%. The yield of this variety is approximately 17.9 kg per square meter. MARINIS is recommended for cultivation in protected ground and for fresh consumption. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including gray mold of fruits and plants, as well as low susceptibility to leaf blight. Additionally, the variety shows resistance to alternaria, verticillium, fusarium (races 1 and 2), leaf speckle, tobacco mosaic virus, yellow leaf curl virus of tomato, tomato leaf spot virus, and nematodes. These characteristics make MARINIS adaptable and flexible for various soil types and climatic conditions, ranging from dry to humid, without loss of yield or fruit quality. The fruits of tomato MARINIS are dense, juicy, and contain significant amounts of vitamins and beneficial substances, including vitamin C, vitamins P, PP, B1, B2, carotene, as well as mineral salts of potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus, and iron. The taste of the fruits is slightly acidic-sweet, making them attractive for fresh consumption and processing. The plant requires staking and pruning to a height of 130 cm for optimal growth and fruiting.
