Tomato DEVONET

Tomato Devonet F1 — this is an ultra-early semi-determinate hybrid of red tomato developed by Syngenta. It is characterized by a short vegetative period of 90-95 days, and fruiting begins around day 48-50 after transplanting. The plant reaches a height of up to 1.5 meters, has well-developed vegetative mass and short internodes, forming 6 to 9 trusses. It is recommended to grow it as a single stem for optimal productivity.

The fruits of tomato Devonet are large, round-oval with slight ribbing, intensely red in color and thick-walled. The average fruit weight is about 200-230 grams, with early fruits reaching up to 300 grams. The hybrid is distinguished by uniform fruit size and attractive appearance, making it popular for fresh market sales. The tomatoes have excellent transport and storage characteristics.

Devonet F1 is resistant to unfavorable growing conditions, including lack of heat and light, allowing successful cultivation in greenhouses, especially in early spring. The hybrid also shows resistance to diseases such as brown spot, tomato mosaic, and false powdery mildew. Due to these qualities, as well as the high quality and taste of the fruits, tomato Devonet is a versatile and reliable choice for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground during spring-summer periods.
