Tomato L225

Operational efficiency of the L225 tomato

The L225 determinant tomato stands out for its high level of operational simplicity. For an operator, this means significantly reduced labor costs for pruning and staking. The plant's structure is compact and robust, allowing it to support its own yield without complex support systems, which drastically speeds up routine maintenance in the field.

Productivity and harvest logistics

The main advantage of L225 is its ultra-early ripening cycle of up to 90 days. This schedule allows growers to harvest the crop before the peak of late-season fungal diseases. The round fruits, weighing up to 20 grams, are exceptionally firm, making them highly resistant to mechanical damage during transport. Their consistency ensures a uniform yield, allowing for efficient, scheduled harvest cycles.

• Maintenance requirements: minimal labor input thanks to the non-aggressive growth habit.
• Resource management: standard fertilization protocols and reduced need for chemical protection due to the rapid growth cycle.
• Post-harvest durability: high fruit density reduces losses during shipping and market handling.

L225 is an ideal choice for operations focused on high turnover. Its structural simplicity and predictable growth make it a highly reliable asset for farmers who prioritize efficiency and ease of management over complex, high-maintenance crops.
