LAPOTY

Tomato Lapoty — a medium-ripening variety, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. The period from germination to technical maturity is about 110–115 days. The plant is indeterminate or semi-determinate, reaching a height of 1.7 to 2 meters, requiring staking and pinching to form a single or two-stem bush. Leaves are of the usual type, inflorescences are simple, appearing after 1–2 leaves.

The fruits of tomato Lapoty are large, weighing 300 to 500 grams, with a flat-round or oval shape resembling a boat. At maturity, they acquire a pink-magenta or orange hue, characterized by dense flesh, juiciness, and few seeds. The taste of the fruits is very sweet with a fruity note, making this variety one of the most flavorful. Tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption and for making tomato juice.

The Lapoty variety is distinguished by high yield and a long fruiting period. With proper care and adherence to agrotechnical practices, up to 5–6 kilograms of high-quality tomatoes can be obtained per square meter. The fruits are well-stored, maintaining their consumer properties for up to 10 days, making this variety convenient for long-term storage and transportation.
