Yellow Bison tomato is a tall, medium-late variety with juicy, oily flesh and a rich, flavorful taste. The fruits have a flattened-round, slightly ribbed shape and a golden-yellow color. The average weight of one tomato is 450 grams, though some specimens can weigh up to 900 grams. The flesh contains a small number of seeds and has a high concentration of beta-carotene (vitamin A), while lacking lycopene, which reduces the risk of allergic reactions. The plant requires pruning and staking, typical for tall varieties. This variety is highly productive — approximately 6.5 kg of fruit can be harvested per square meter. The period from planting to ripening is about 115–120 days, making it suitable for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. Yellow Bison tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, slicing, and preparing various dishes and sauces. Due to their large size and structure, they are not recommended for canning, as the flesh breaks into pieces during thermal processing. Thanks to their sweet and balanced flavor, these tomatoes are excellent for culinary use where flavor intensity and quality are important.
