Tomato KM 5512

Tomato KM 5512 is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid, intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and open ground. The plant features long green leaves and simple inflorescences, and the peduncle has a joint, facilitating harvesting. Fruits are round, dense, and smooth-surfaced, weighing approximately 15 grams. Unripe fruits are dark green with stripes, while ripe ones acquire a brownish hue, giving them an attractive appearance reminiscent of the 'Kumat' variety. Hybrid KM 5512 boasts high yield — up to 18.2 kg per square meter in plastic greenhouses — as well as excellent taste, making it popular for fresh consumption. The hybrid is resistant to viral diseases, ensuring stable yields and reducing the need for intensive plant protection. Due to these qualities, the tomato is suitable for cultivation in active greenhouses and home gardens, and can also be used for processing. The origin of this variety is linked to the Swiss breeding company Syngenta AG, guaranteeing high quality and modern breeding achievements. KM 5512 is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including zones with different climatic conditions, confirming its adaptability and versatility. This tomato is ideal for salad use due to its flavor and attractive chocolate-colored fruits.
