Description COAL
Tomato Coal — a unique anthocyanin variety of domestic breeding, distinguished by its unusual fruit color. The fruits have a deep purple-black hue with a red blush, giving each tomato a distinctive appearance. The fruits are round, slightly ribbed, weighing 60 to 80 grams, juicy and sweet, with bright red flesh. Each cluster forms 9 to 12 fruits, ensuring high yield — approximately 6.4–6.7 kg per square meter. The maturity period is medium early, lasting about 108–115 days from seed sowing.

Tomato Coal plants are indeterminate, with elongated dark-green leaves. In greenhouse conditions, plants can reach up to 2 meters in height. For optimal growth, it is recommended to train the plants into two stems, pinch out suckers, and tie the plants to supports. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses, making it versatile for various climatic conditions.

Tomato Coal is drought-resistant and has good immunity, although it may be susceptible to diseases such as late blight and cladosporiosis. Thanks to its flavor and attractive appearance, the fruits are excellent for fresh consumption and can serve as a striking accent in culinary experiments. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including Northern, Northwestern, and Central areas.
