Tomato Hyppel 108 F1 is a determinate, super-early hybrid with a pear-shaped form, developed by the Dutch company Seminis for cultivation in open ground. The plant has a compact, low or medium-high stature, making care and harvest easier. Fruits begin to ripen in large quantities 63–68 days after transplanting seedlings, enabling an early harvest. The hybrid is adaptable to various growing conditions and suitable for different climatic zones.
The fruits of tomato Hyppel 108 F1 are bright red, without green spots, oval-pear-shaped, weighing 100–110 grams. The flesh is uniform, juicy, with a rich flavor and high dry matter content (5.4–5.6%), making them attractive for fresh consumption as well as for processing into paste and canning. Tomatoes are well-suited for transport and retain their flavor for a long time, which is advantageous for fresh market sales.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including alternaria, leaf spot, bacterial spot, fusarium and verticillium wilt, as well as nematodes. This ensures stable yields and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. Hyppel 108 F1 is suitable for both seedling and direct sowing methods, and allows for mechanized harvesting, enhancing agricultural efficiency.
