HASBULAT

Hasbulat — a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber with female flowering, characterized by high yield and resistance to temperature fluctuations. The time from germination to fruiting is 37-40 days, allowing for early harvest both in open and covered ground. The plant is vigorous, with moderate branching ability, requiring staking for proper vine formation. Each axil forms 7-10 fruit set, contributing to stable and abundant fruiting. Hasbulat fruits are cylindrical, 10-14 cm long and 3-4 cm in diameter, weighing approximately 90-100 g. Their color is dark green with faint stripes, covered with medium-sized, frequent tubercles and white spines. The taste qualities of the fruits are excellent, making them suitable for fresh consumption and pickling. The hybrid has high market appeal and regular hand-harvesting. For cultivation, seedlings should be sown in April and transplanted into the ground in May, when they have two to three true leaves, under temporary film coverings or in polytunnels. Direct sowing in open ground can be done at the end of May — beginning of June. Hasbulat is resistant to true powdery mildew, olive spot, root rots, and tolerant to false powdery mildew, ensuring reliable and stable yields. The optimal soil temperature for seed germination is 25-30 °C.
