Tomato GOLDEN GIANT'S HEART

Cultivation and Plant Management

The "Giant's Heart Golden" (Serdtse Velikana Zolotoe) tomato from Gavrish is designed for producers who prioritize fruit weight and market appeal. As an indeterminate variety, it demands strict adherence to pruning and staking. With a height often exceeding 1.8-2 meters, managing the plant requires a disciplined approach to suckering and vertical training to ensure the energy is directed into fruit production, allowing the tomatoes to reach their characteristic weight of 200+ grams.

Agronomic Performance and Yield

With a maturation cycle of 90-100 days, this variety is highly efficient for producers looking for a reliable, early-to-mid season harvest. The fruit displays a vibrant yellow-orange hue and, due to its multi-chambered structure (6+ chambers), possesses a dense, fleshy texture that is highly valued in the fresh market. When managed with proper potassium-rich irrigation, the plant can reach impressive yields of 70-100 tons per hectare, making it a robust commercial choice.

Operating Experience

From an operator's perspective, the "Giant's Heart Golden" is a stable performer that rewards consistent maintenance. Because the fruits are heavy and heart-shaped, installing sturdy trellis systems is mandatory to prevent branch breakage. While the fruit's size is a major selling point for premium markets, care must be taken during harvest and transport due to the thin, delicate skin associated with these high-quality, large tomatoes. If you are looking for an expertly bred variety from the Gavrish selection portfolio that provides a professional look and excellent sugar-to-acid ratio, this variety is a solid asset for your production cycle.
