GOLDEN GIANT'S HEART

The 'Golden Giant's Heart' tomato variety belongs to medium-maturing, indeterminate plants, providing a prolonged fruiting period. Depending on growing conditions, the first fruits ripen 80-110 days after seedlings emerge. Plants reach heights from 50 to 170 cm and require support, as well as single-stem formation with pinching off suckers and the growth tip at the end of vegetation. Sowing seedlings is recommended in early March, with transplanting in the first true leaf stage, and planting in greenhouses or open ground in late April or early May.

The fruits of this variety have a distinctive heart-shaped or conical form and are large in size — from 100 to 400 grams. Their color ranges from golden-yellow to yellow-orange. The tomatoes are juicy, multi-chambered, with high sugar and beta-carotene content (up to 3.75 mg), giving them a sweet and aromatic taste. Due to these qualities, the fruits are ideal for fresh consumption, salads, juices, lecho, as well as for canning in their own juice or whole-fruit preservation.

The variety is characterized by its low maintenance and resistance to major diseases, making it suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground, especially in southern regions. Low-growing plants around 50 cm tall form several clusters with 5-7 fruits, while taller plants produce 3-5 fruits per cluster. Yield reaches up to 7 kg per square meter, enabling a steady and abundant harvest of delicious and nutritious tomatoes.
