Tomato GELANA

Tomato Gelana is an early-maturing determinate hybrid, distinguished by high yield and excellent flavor qualities of the fruit. The vegetation period is approximately 86-95 days, allowing for a quick harvest. Plants reach a height of 100 to 120 cm, forming 5-6 trusses with large, round or flattened-round fruits. Fruit weight varies from 120 to 250 grams, with an intense red color, dense and meaty structure, and the absence of green spot at the stem end, enhancing their market appearance. Hybrid Gelana exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt, alternaria, phytophthora, and tobacco mosaic virus. This makes it a reliable choice for cultivation both in open ground and protected environments. Yield reaches 16 to 19 kg per square meter, confirming its high productivity. After the main fruiting period, the plant can regrow and produce a second harvest, increasing overall cultivation efficiency. Tomato fruits of Gelana are versatile in use: they are excellent for fresh consumption, pickling, and processing. Due to their dense structure and good transportability, tomatoes maintain their qualities during transport and storage. The hybrid combines high productivity, disease resistance, and outstanding flavor, making it attractive to gardeners and farmers focused on obtaining high-quality and stable yields.
