The Geisha tomato variety is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid with plants up to 1.6 meters tall. Fruit set begins 90-95 days after germination, with the first flower cluster forming above the 7th-8th leaf, and subsequent clusters appearing every two leaves. Bunches are simple and semi-complex, containing 15-20 fruits of amber or bituminous color, which have an elliptical shape, smooth surface, and two-chambered structure. Each tomato weighs 25-30 grams.
The flesh of the fruits is firm and juicy, with increased beta-carotene content, giving them a very sweet taste. Due to these qualities, Geisha tomatoes are excellent for both fresh consumption and canning. The hybrid has high fruit set even under conditions of water deficiency, low and high temperatures, as well as insufficient lighting.
The variety is resistant to such diseases as alternaria, bacterial and fusarium wilt, as well as tomato mosaic virus. It is recommended to train plants into one or two stems for optimal growth and fruiting. Geisha is intended for cultivation in protected soil, particularly in greenhouses, with a planting density of 3-4 plants per square meter.
