Gaiduk

The hybrid tomato GAIDUK is a semi-determinate plant reaching a height of 1.2 to 1.5 meters, intended for early production. Fruit ripening occurs within 80–100 days depending on growing conditions. The first flower cluster forms above the 6th–7th leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every 1–3 leaves. The plant is moderately leafy, which promotes good air circulation and fruit illumination. Suitable for cultivation both in open ground on stakes or trellises, and in plastic greenhouses, with a planting density of 2.5–4 plants per square meter. The tomato GAIDUK has round, smooth fruits, uniformly sized and shaped in clusters and on the entire plant. In the technical ripening stage, they are light green, and at biological maturity, they are intensely red without a green spot at the stem attachment. Fruit weight ranges from 130 to 150 grams. The cluster is simple, containing 4–6 fruits with a knotted attachment to the stem. Fruits are firm, possess excellent taste qualities, high marketability, and good transportability. The hybrid is characterized by high yield: in plastic greenhouses, it reaches 15–18 kg per square meter, and in open ground on trellises — 10–12 kg per square meter. GAIDUK exhibits comprehensive resistance to major tomato diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), alternaria, fusarium, and phytophthora, making it a reliable choice for early production. To achieve more uniform fruits, it is recommended to train the plant as a single stem.
