Cultivation and Management

As an indeterminate variety, Corbin F1 requires precise greenhouse management to maximize yield:

• Planting Density: Recommended density in protected ground is 2.5–3 plants per square meter. The horizontal leaf position and moderate foliage density allow for excellent light penetration and air circulation.
• Training: The plant requires consistent pruning and vertical training to a single stem. The internode length between the 1st and 4th clusters is medium, facilitating efficient cluster management.
• Irrigation and Nutrition: Given the medium pericarp thickness and 3–4 seed locules, maintaining stable soil moisture is critical to prevent fruit cracking. Fertigation programs should be adjusted based on the growth stage, particularly during the fruit-setting phase.
