Tomato CHERRY PRINCESS

Operational Insights: Growing «Vishnya Korolevskaya»

For the agricultural manager, the «Vishnya Korolevskaya» tomato is an asset defined by its predictability. As an indeterminate variety developed by Lyubov Myazina and Elizaveta Kudryavtseva, it requires a rigorous approach to pruning and trellising. Due to its vigorous growth habit, the plant demands consistent structural support; failure to manage the vegetative load during fruit set can result in decreased yield potential.

Key Technical Specifications

• Maturation Cycle: The 100–120 day window allows for precise scheduling of harvest cycles, providing consistent supply.
• Fruit Profile: With weights between 80 and 150 grams, these tomatoes offer versatility for both fresh retail and commercial processing.
• Logistics and Storage: The most significant operational advantage is the shelf life; the fruit can be held for over 30 days post-harvest, significantly reducing waste in the supply chain.
• Durability: Excellent transportability ensures that the produce maintains its market-ready condition from the greenhouse to the shelf.

The aesthetic diversity of the fruit—ranging from red and pink to orange and yellow—requires systematic grading during packing but provides a high-value "mix" for end-users. From a maintenance perspective, the variety is responsive to standard fertilization and shows low susceptibility to cracking, provided the hydration protocol is managed correctly. This reliability minimizes sorting rejects and makes it a cost-effective choice for modern agricultural operations.
