Cherry Dessert — a medium-early, tall tomato variety prized for its rich flavor and ease of cultivation. The fruits of this variety are large, dark red, weighing up to 300 grams, with a delicate skin and juicy, succulent flesh. They have small seed chambers and thick sugar walls, giving them sweetness and an aroma reminiscent of classic favorite tomato varieties. Due to these qualities, tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, such as in salads, as well as for other culinary purposes.
The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 10-12 kg of fruit can be harvested from one plant. It is resistant to major diseases, which simplifies care and reduces the risk of crop loss. For optimal results, it is recommended to grow Cherry Dessert in plastic greenhouses. Seedlings are sown in late February to early March, and transplanted into greenhouses in late April to early May. An important agronomic measure is staking plants several days after transplanting, as well as shaping the bush into a single stem by removing all suckers and lower leaves. At the end of the growing season, the growth tip is pinched off to improve fruit quality.
The optimal planting scheme is 40x60 cm, providing sufficient space for each plant to develop.
