Tomato CHELYABINSKY METEORIT

Siberian endurance in every fruit

The "Chelyabinsk Meteorite" tomato is the result of breeding work by the renowned agronomist Lyubov Myazina. Developed specifically for high-risk agricultural zones, this variety has quickly earned a reputation as a reliable, high-performance crop. Unlike greenhouse giants that demand complex maintenance, this determinate variety is engineered to deliver results in open field conditions or under simple plastic tunnels.

Agronomic performance and yield

• Type: open-pollinated variety
• Maturity: early ripening (90–100 days from emergence)
• Growth habit: determinate (compact growth)
• Fruit weight: over 200 grams
• Shape and color: classic round, vibrant red
• Yield potential: 70–100 tons per hectare

The primary value of the "Chelyabinsk Meteorite" lies in its perfect balance between earliness and fruit size. While most early varieties suffer from small fruit size, the breeders here successfully combined rapid harvest onset with impressive individual fruit weight. The uniform round shape makes them highly versatile, suitable for fresh market sales, as well as juice and paste production. The high yield potential makes it a lucrative choice for farms targeting the early vegetable market.

Why professionals choose it

The determinate growth habit significantly optimizes cultivation management: the plant does not require excessive pruning, saving both time and labor costs on large-scale operations. Robust seedlings and high tolerance to field conditions make this tomato a predictable performer. "Chelyabinsk Meteorite" is the choice for growers looking for stable market returns without the risk of crop failure due to short, unpredictable summers.
