Tomato Bordo

Focusing on Large-Fruit Production: "Bordeaux" Tomato

For agricultural enterprises focused on the fresh market, the "Bordeaux" variety from Ooo Premium Sids represents a professional choice for indeterminate tomato cultivation. This variety is selected specifically when the primary objective is to achieve a high yield of large, flavorful fruits suitable for the fresh-cut and salad segments.

Cultivation Strategy and Crop Management

With a maturation period of 120–130 days, "Bordeaux" is classified as a mid-late variety. In field or greenhouse conditions, this necessitates precise planning of the transplanting schedule to ensure a complete and successful growth cycle. As an indeterminate plant, "Bordeaux" requires systematic staking, pruning, and canopy management to maintain plant health and optimal fruit loading.

• Fruit Quality and Weight: The variety produces fruits weighing over 200 grams. Featuring a 3–4 chamber structure, these tomatoes are dense and fleshy, which is a key trait for premium salad tomatoes.
• Market Readiness: The fruit shape, which transitions from flat-round to heart-shaped, creates a distinct visual appeal. Combined with an intense red color, this makes the variety highly marketable. Proper irrigation management is critical to prevent fruit cracking during the swelling phase.

The practical application of "Bordeaux" shows that it thrives in film greenhouses, where environmental parameters such as temperature and humidity can be tightly regulated. By choosing this variety from Ooo Premium Sids, producers prioritize the "beef tomato" quality standard, ensuring that size, structure, and flavor meet the requirements of demanding customers.
