Tomato ALEVTINA

Consistent Yields with Ultra-Early Maturity

For commercial growers focused on the earliest possible market window, the 'Alevtina' tomato is a reliable performer. Developed by the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, this variety is engineered for rapid production, reaching harvest maturity within 90 days. This makes it a strategic asset for growers looking to hit the early market when prices peak.

Agronomic Characteristics and Fruit Quality

The variety is determinate, simplifying management significantly. The plant does not require complex pruning or staking, which helps reduce labor costs. Its egg-shaped, vibrant red fruits are visually appealing and highly uniform. With an average fruit weight of 60-80 grams, 'Alevtina' is perfectly suited for whole-fruit processing and canning.

Strengths and Considerations

• Key Advantages: A remarkable yield potential of 100-130 tons per hectare sets this variety apart from other compact tomatoes. Its structural integrity—characterized by 4-6 locules—ensures excellent firmness and transportability, preventing cracks during transit.
• Growth Notes: As with most determinate varieties with concentrated ripening, 'Alevtina' performs best with a consistent fertigation program and proper water management during the fruit development stage to ensure optimal size.

This variety is an optimal choice for industrial producers who require consistent, dense, and high-quality fruit for both fresh retail and processing industries.
