Tomato Vivolia is a medium-ripening hybrid with indeterminate growth, producing a powerful and tall plant with an open inflorescence. The leaves are slightly drooping and horizontally arranged, and the development of flower clusters occurs quickly, contributing to high yields. The fruits have an inverted egg-shaped form, smooth and glossy surface, medium size and weight ranging from 80 to 140 grams depending on growing conditions. Immature fruits are green, while at biological maturity they turn into a rich red color. The taste quality of the fruits is good, making them suitable for fresh consumption and canning.
The Vivolia hybrid is characterized by high yields, reaching up to 8.9 kg per square meter, and each plant can produce 4.5 to 5 kg of fruit. Thanks to its evenly spaced clusters, the fruits are easy to pack on trays, improving their market quality and post-harvest storage. The plant is recommended to be trained into a single stem, by relocating the growing point to a lateral branch, which promotes optimal growth and fruiting. Plant height varies from 1.0 to 1.5 meters, making it medium-height.
Tomato Vivolia is resistant to a range of diseases, including Fusarium wilt, tomato mosaic virus, tip and root rot, verticillium wilt, and cladosporiosis. The hybrid tolerates stressful conditions, sharp temperature and humidity fluctuations, allowing it to be grown under various climatic conditions, including winter greenhouses and plastic coverings. The recommended planting scheme is 40x50 cm, and the hybrid is suitable for cultivation in winter-spring, spring-summer, summer-autumn, and extended rotations on light culture.
