Cucumber C 2808

Versatile performance for diverse growing environments

The C 2808 hybrid from Euro Zaden Holland B.V. is a testament to Dutch breeding precision, specifically engineered to provide consistent results regardless of the planting environment. Unlike highly specialized varieties that require strict greenhouse climate control, C 2808 offers growers a high level of flexibility, thriving both in protected structures and open-field conditions.

Why choose C 2808?

• Adaptive vigor: The genetics of this hybrid allow the plant to withstand temperature fluctuations and varying humidity levels, which is a major advantage for growers in volatile climates.
• Universal cultivation: You no longer need to source separate seeds for different growing sites. C 2808 performs reliably under film, glass, or direct sunlight.
• Quality output: The fruits maintain excellent shape and marketable characteristics, ensuring ease of sale in both wholesale and retail markets.

The true strength of the C 2808 lies in its balance. It is a robust, low-maintenance option that shields the grower from the risks of environment-related yield losses. While hyper-intensive greenhouse varieties might yield more in a perfectly controlled setting, C 2808 excels in real-world scenarios where conditions are rarely ideal. Its resilience makes it an ideal workhorse for medium-sized farming operations and professional home gardeners alike.

Ultimately, this hybrid is built for those who value predictable reliability over high-risk, high-reward experimentation. By choosing C 2808, you are investing in a proven Dutch quality standard that simplifies your management schedule and delivers a consistent harvest throughout the season.
