Vintage

The 'Vintage' tomato variety is a medium-early indeterminate hybrid developed based on the Tom Wagner's Brandy Stripe line and first introduced in 1998. Plants are strong, healthy, with large potato-like leaves, reaching heights of 1.5–1.6 meters in greenhouse conditions and about 1 meter in open ground. The plant exhibits unlimited growth, allowing it to produce up to 50 tomato clusters per season with proper support and pruning into two stems. Flowering begins after 6–12 leaves, followed by flower clusters forming every 2–3 leaves.

The 'Vintage' variety fruits have a unique two-tone coloration: a pink background with pastel-yellow or golden stripes, giving them a decorative and attractive appearance. The tomatoes are flat-round in shape, with dense, juicy flesh, weighing 150–280 grams. The flavor is balanced, tender, and rich, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for making salads, juice, pasta, and sauces. The fruits have good storability and can be kept for about two weeks.

The 'Vintage' variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected conditions, including greenhouses and temporary shelters. The vegetative period ranges from 84 to 120 days depending on growing conditions. Yield is high — 10–20 kg per square meter, with harvest occurring in parts throughout the season. In autumn, fruits can be harvested before frost and ripened indoors, allowing for an extended harvest period.
