VIARDO

Tomato VIARDO is a medium-early indeterminate tall hybrid intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. The time from germination to fruiting is approximately 107-118 days. Plants reach a height of 1.5-2.0 meters and require training to a single stem with removal of all suckers for optimal development. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early to mid-March, transplanting in the first true leaf stage, and planting in greenhouses in early to mid-May, when seedlings are about 40 days old. Planting scheme is 40x60 cm.

The fruits of tomato VIARDO have a flat-round shape and bright red color when ripe. The weight of one fruit varies from 110 to 152 grams, ensuring good market appearance and ease of use. The hybrid is characterized by high yield — up to 9.7-10.4 kg per square meter, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. Yield per plant reaches 4.0-4.5 kg.

A key feature of the hybrid is its resistance to major tomato diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss. VIARDO seeds retain viability for up to 10 years under proper storage conditions, although it is recommended to increase the sowing rate after the expiration of the shelf life to ensure good germination. This tomato is suitable for cultivation under various conditions, including adverse ones, and provides a stable high yield of aromatic and high-quality fruits.
