Pink Ripe — an early-maturing, large-fruited salad tomato variety that begins fruiting 105-110 days after germination. Plants are indeterminate, reaching 170-180 cm in height, with short clusters featuring even fruit set. Tomatoes are flat-round in shape, medium density, slightly ribbed, weighing 300–400 grams, without green spot at the stem attachment. Unripe fruits are light green, while ripe fruits develop an attractive pink color. Tomato flesh is tender, juicy, and sweet, with a balanced acidity and sugar content, as well as a distinct aroma, making them especially tasty and appealing for salads.
The variety is characterized by high yield — under plastic coverings it reaches 10 kg per square meter, and overall produces 9–12 kg of fruit per same area. Plants have dark green medium-length leaves and complex inflorescences; the peduncle is equipped with a joint, facilitating harvest. Due to resistance to blossom end rot and good tolerance to low temperatures, the variety can fruit until mid-autumn, extending the harvest period.
Pink Ripe is recommended for cultivation under plastic coverings in the middle belt of Russia and in open ground in southern regions. Its large, aromatic, juicy fruits are ideal for fresh consumption, especially in salads, thanks to their excellent taste and attractive appearance. This variety combines high productivity, resistance to adverse conditions, and outstanding flavor, making it an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers.
