VOLOGODSKIE MOTIVY

Tomato Vologodskie Motivy is a medium-height indeterminate variety, suitable for cultivation in both polyethylene greenhouses and open ground. The plant is compact, with a sturdy upright bush reaching 1.5 to 2 meters in height. The variety’s distinctive feature is its unusual serrated leaves, resembling Vologda lace patterns, giving the plant a decorative appearance. The vegetative period until technical maturity is 105–110 days.

The fruits of tomato Vologodskie Motivy are large, round-oval in shape, weighing 200–250 grams. They have juicy, fleshy flesh and a rich red color at biological maturity. The taste of the fruits is excellent and sweet, making this variety ideal for salads. Fruits form in clusters of 3–4 units, contributing to high yield. The variety is characterized by high marketability, storability, and good transportability.

For cultivation, seeds should be sown in seedbeds in February–March or March–April at a depth of 1–2 cm, with transplanting at the 2–3 true leaf stage. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses in April–May, and into open ground in June. After planting, plants should be tied up and pinched to form a proper bush and increase yield. The optimal planting scheme is 40x60 cm, ensuring comfortable plant growth and ease of care.
