Tomato KANOPUS — this is a medium-early, large-fruited variety of Siberian selection, intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. The plant is determinate, low-growing, reaching a height of 50-60 cm. In open ground, the variety can be grown without pinching and staking, while in greenhouses, it is recommended to form the bush into two stems. KANOPUS is characterized by high yield — up to 4-5 kg per plant when planted at a density of 2-3 plants per 1 m².

Tomato fruits have a cylindrical or oval shape, smooth and firm, bright red in color. Fruit weight ranges from 100-150 g to 400 g, with individual specimens reaching up to 600 g. Due to their large size and excellent storability, tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing into tomato products. Smaller fruits are ideal for whole-fruit canning. Fruits exhibit good transportability and uniformity.

The KANOPUS variety possesses high resistance to adverse weather conditions, drought, as well as fungal diseases such as late blight and bacterial spot. Additionally, it is genetically resistant to tobacco mosaic virus. The plant responds well to organic-mineral fertilizers and watering, contributing to a stable and high-quality harvest. Due to its characteristics, tomato KANOPUS is a versatile variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouse conditions.
