Syngenta Seeds' Dutch breeders developed the GSS3071 F1 sweet corn, a medium-maturing SH2 (super-sweet) hybrid with a vegetative period of approximately 77-80 days. Plants reach up to 2.5 meters in height and feature a high ear position on the stalk, facilitating harvesting. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including Bm, Ps, Pst, and MDMV, ensuring stable and reliable cultivation under varying conditions.

The ears are cylindrical, 22-25 cm long, and 5-5.4 cm in diameter. The kernels are large, dense, and intensely yellow, arranged in 16-18 rows with 18 kernels per row. Thick, dark leaves protect the ears from heat and damage, preserving their juiciness and quality. The ear weight ranges from 200 to 300 grams, with kernel depth reaching 12-13 mm. Due to these characteristics, the hybrid has a rich, sweet flavor and high sugar content, making it an excellent choice for both fresh consumption and processing.
