Sunflower PS 235 is a high-yielding hybrid of Serbian selection, distinguished by high drought resistance and resistance to major diseases such as rust, white mold, downy mildew, and phomopsis. The average yield of this hybrid is 53-55 centners per hectare, with a vegetation period of about 105-110 days. Thanks to its well-developed root system capable of penetrating the soil to a depth of up to 2.5 meters, the plant effectively utilizes water and nutrients, which is especially important for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The oil content of PS 235 sunflower seeds reaches approximately 52%, making it attractive for producing high-quality oil. The hybrid is well-adapted to various regions, including southern and eastern areas of Ukraine, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. High resistance to diseases and stress allows reducing costs for plant protection and increasing the economic efficiency of cultivation.
