ES MAGNIFIC is a mid-early high-oleic sunflower hybrid intended for intensive cultivation in various soil and climatic conditions. The plants reach a height of 165-175 cm, have an average head diameter of 21-23 cm, and a maturity period of 100-105 days. The seeds are of medium size, oval-oblong shape with black coloration, possess high oil content – 48-51%, while the oleic acid content in the oil reaches 88-91%, making this hybrid particularly valuable for producing high-quality sunflower oil with improved technological and taste characteristics.
The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including downy mildew (resistance degree A-G), phoma, sclerotinia, rust, and verticillium wilt, and also has good drought and lodging resistance. The cultivation technology provides for the use of the Clearfield Plus system, which ensures effective protection against weeds, including sunflower volunteer. Seed treatment includes fungicidal and insecticidal protection, which promotes strong initial growth energy and stable yield.
ES MAGNIFIC is recommended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth Region, the Middle Volga Region, as well as in Forest-steppe and Forest zones. The hybrid's yield potential exceeds 50 c/ha, which is confirmed by stable indicators in various agro-climatic zones. High oil content and oleic acid content make this hybrid attractive for producers focused on obtaining high-quality oil with improved properties and high economic efficiency.
