The LG50545 CLP hybrid sunflower is an early linoleic variety adapted for Clearfield Plus technology, providing high resistance to weeds, particularly various biotypes of ragweed (A-G), as well as to the herbicide Euro-Lightning Plus. This hybrid exhibits high drought tolerance and a strong root system, enabling successful cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppes, forest steppes, and lowland areas. Plant height reaches approximately 153 cm, and the 1000-seed weight is about 73 grams, indicating good development and yield potential.

LG50545 CLP has high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as phomopsis, false powdery mildew, and verticillium, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. The hybrid has an early maturation period, allowing fields to be freed up early for subsequent crops, such as winter wheat. The flower head diameter is approximately 17 cm, which contributes to the formation of large seeds with high oil content.

One of the key advantages of LG50545 CLP is its high oil yield — up to 49-50%, making it attractive for oil production. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and up to 55 thousand under adequate moisture. When agronomic requirements are met, the hybrid’s yield can reach 35-40 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity and economic efficiency.
