The hybrid sunflower LG 5377 from the company Limagrain is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety with a vegetation period of 90-105 days. This hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy and a medium-height plant type, with a height of approximately 155 cm and a head diameter of about 15.9 cm. The thousand-seed weight is around 70 grams, and the seeds are black. LG 5377 belongs to the linoleic type of hybrids and has a yield potential of up to 45 centners per hectare.

A distinctive feature of this hybrid is its adaptation to cultivation in regions with shortened vegetation periods, making it an optimal choice for western, central, and northern regions of Ukraine. The hybrid is not recommended for southern areas of the country. LG 5377 exhibits high resistance to drought, frost, lodging, and tolerance to Phomopsis and Phomoides. Additionally, it demonstrates resistance to new races of powdery mildew and downy mildew (races A-D), ensuring a good phytosanitary profile.

The seeds of hybrid LG 5377 are certified and undergo treatment prior to shipment, guaranteeing their quality and safety. The recommended cultivation technology is conventional, with seeding rates varying depending on soil moisture levels: 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55-60 thousand under adequate moisture. This approach allows for optimal utilization of the hybrid’s potential and ensures stable yields across various climatic zones.
