L 57 is a sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation using EuroLighting (Clearfield®) technology, which provides immunity to herbicides and allows for effective weed control without harm to the crop. This hybrid is distinguished by high yield and resistance to drought and various diseases, making it a reliable choice for agricultural production, especially on heavily infested fields. Sunflower L 57 is widely used for oil production and animal feed.
The hybrid is characterized by an ultra-early maturity period of about 80 days, which allows for cultivation in various climatic zones, including northern regions with a frost-free period of no less than 110 days. Plants are dwarf, with a height of 145 to 170 cm, which facilitates care and harvest. L 57 is frost-resistant down to -7°C and can be sown as early as July 20. Seeds are treated with special preparations to protect against diseases and pests.
L 57 has high oil content, reaching 49-51%, and resistance to rust (5 races A-E). The hybrid also demonstrates resistance to a wide range of diseases, including white mold, black mold, phoma, downy mildew, phoma, rust, alternaria, septoria, and gray mold. The recommended sowing density varies depending on moisture conditions, which allows optimizing yield and product quality.
