Sunflower L 808

Focus on Stability and Productivity

In modern crop production, the choice of seed material is a strategic decision. The sunflower hybrid L 808 from Melkom Agro is a tool aimed at farmers seeking a balance between predictable yields and ease of cultivation. As a simple hybrid, L 808 demonstrates high crop uniformity, which is critical for even ripening and simplifying the harvesting process.

Agrotechnological Features

The origin of L 808 is linked to Melkom Agro's breeding program, designed to adapt hybrids to the climatic risks of cultivation regions. This hybrid was developed with an intensive farming approach in mind, where the crop's responsiveness to agrotechnical practices plays a key role. Key advantages of this model include:

• Trait Stability: The genetic purity of the material ensures predictable results from one season to the next.
• Processability: The hybrid is adapted to standard protection and nutrition schemes, allowing agronomists to plan costs without the need for radical changes to plant protection systems.
• Growth Energy: A powerful initial growth spurt allows the crop to effectively utilize moisture during early vegetation phases, which is particularly relevant in arid conditions.

The reputation of L 808 in the market is built on its predictable performance in the field. It is not the type of hybrid that promises «astronomical» figures under perfect conditions, but it demonstrates high resistance to stress factors, maintaining production potential where competitive analogs might see significant yield drops. Using L 808 is a pragmatic choice for operations that prioritize harvesting commercial sunflower with strong oil content and seed filling characteristics.
